It’s been a long time coming, but the Tacoma Youth Marine Center and Tacoma Chapter of the Sea Scouts are getting a new home, and Parker Pacific is part of the team that is making it happen! Last summer the Marine Center moved their boats to a new dock located on the Thea Foss waterway, and now they are finally getting a building to match. Parker Pacific is completing the grading, foundation, and utility install for a 28×80 portable building that will be moved onto the site from its current location under the Murray Morgan bridge. The city of Tacoma is donating the building and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians also made a generous cash contribution to this community project.
